A coroplast sign is a portable and lightweight sign material that has a smooth plastic exterior and corrugated plastic core.

How Durable are Coroplast Signs?
When talking about coroplast signs it is important to understand the cost in relation to other sign substrates. Coroplast is considered much more cost effective and provides good value for the cost. Coroplast signs were developed as a low cost option to create cost effective full color temporary sign options. Rigid Coroplast Signs can maintain their appearance for approximately 1 year without lamination. With lamination Coroplast signs can be kept longer and weather better.
Environmental conditions such as long-term exposure to sunlight and other weathering are the main culprits working against the durability and lifespan of Corrugated Plastic Signs. Coroplast Signs can become brittle over time and may swell in heat if not anchored properly. Due to the low cost of Coroplast Signs, when the signs start showing their age, it's recommended to recycle and replace them.
What sizes are Coroplast Signs?
Sheets of Coroplast come in a variety of depths with 4mm thick Coroplast being the most commonly used for signs and advertisements. The 4mm thickness of the corrugated plastic sheet provides a good balance between cost and durability. For larger or more rigid applications, 10mm thick Coroplast is also a sign industry favourite.
Our standard stock of Coroplast Signs are 4x8 and can be cut down to custom size to suit your business’s needs. For larger coroplast signs or when a seam in the coroplast is not desirable we can also bring in specialty custom size corrugated plastic sheets. 18x24 coroplast signs are commonly used for yard signs and lawn signs.

Fence signs can be attached to most fence types with out too much modification. For extra security, we generally manufacture our fence signs with grommets to prevent the zap strap and general wear and tear from breaking down the coroplast. Most Fence signs are usually used near the entrance gate to show safety signs, signs for rules & regulations, and to advertise the services being performed on site.
Coroplast Signs on a Flat Surface or Wall
Coroplast signs can be secured using general fasteners for securing to a flat surface or wall. its advised to use a washer with your fastener when securing coroplast signs. The washer with your fastener will help to prevent damage to the coroplast and distribute the pressure from the fastener over a wider surface area.
