Choose your Car Wrap

In the world of vinyl car wraps, there are a few popular vinyl vehicle wrap layout options. This is applicable for all vehicle types include cars, trucks and vans. Different vehicle wrap configurations provide different levels of coverage and cost points. Vehicle wraps options include the vinyl wrap styles below:

Vehicle Vinyl Decaling

Vehicle Decals

Basic vehicle decals utilize cut vinyl decals to deliver your marketing message. Vehicle decals commonly contain your company name, email, phone and website. The basic car decals are installed on the most visible panels of your vehicle, the driver and passenger doors.

Cut vehicle decals are the most cost effective way to get your vehicle branded. Decals are a quick and simple way to market your company's brand and contact information on your car.

For the purpose of economy, basic vinyl lettering is cut from colored sign vinyl. Additional vinyl colors can be layered to create more intricate vehicle designs. It’s recommended to select a vinyl color which contrasts the factory paint color of your vehicle. Basic vinyl lettering is effective at advertising simple information to prospects on your vehicle.

Installation of basic vinyl lettering is quick. As a result there is little down time of your work vehicle. Vinyl lettering is also very durable and design to last many years. Vinyl decals can be removed with heat.

Basic Vinyl lettering is commonly installed the follow configurations:

  1. Vinyl Decal son Driver Door and Passenger Door Panel

  2. Vinyl Letter on Driver Door, Passenger Door Panel and Rear tailgate/trunk/Doors

Spot Graphic Vehicle Wraps

Spot Graphic Vehicle Wraps

Spot graphic vehicle wraps are for companies looking more advanced designs. This popular vinyl vehicle wrap is made by digital printing graphics on vinyl film. Overlaminate can be used on top of the vinyl film to increase durability. The spot graphics are installed on key locations of the car, truck or van. The digitally printed vinyl film is dye cut to your logo’s design and shape of typography so your base vehicle color is visible.

As spot graphics are digitally printed, there are no color restrictions with your vehicle wrap design. Your vinyl graphics can be made up of as many colors or images as required. If your looking to utilize rasterized logos/images make sure they are provided in high resolution.

Spot graphic vehicle wraps can be installed on any panels or spread between panels to maximize visibility. Graphic wraps of this type are commonly applied to the side and rear of commercial vehicles.

Partial Car Wrap

Partial Car Wrap

A partial car wrap takes spot graphics to the next level. As lead on by the by the name, partial car wraps are designed to cover ½ to ¾” of your commercial vehicle, work truck or car.

Your partial car wrap is digitally printed on vinyl film with overlaminate. The vinyl wrap is designed to cover a majority of your vehicle. A partial car wrap is generally not dye cut and vinyl film covers your car panels edge to edge. In Vancouver partial car wraps favor the rear section of a vehicle to increase exposure while on the road.

Partial car Wrap with Decals

For greater impact, partial car wraps are commonly paired with some vinyl lettering. The vinyl lettering complements the partial wrap by filling in empty vehicle panels with contact information and creates a sense of continuity from your vehicle front to back. A partial car wrap with lettering can make the wrap look more complete while still allowing some factory paint to be visible.

Note: A Partial Car Wrap complemented with vinyl lettering is our most popular option.

Full Vehicle Wrap Vancouver

Full Vehicle Wrap

A full vehicle wrap (aka full car wrap) covers all panels of the vehicle with digitally printed vinyl. A full commercial vehicle wrap usually omits the roof and lower panels below the bumper line.

The advantage of a full vehicle wrap is it allows the most design freedom. Covering the whole vehicle, maximizes the available marketing real estate on your vehicle wrap. Wonderful design opportunities exist with full car wraps including use of large graphics, gradients and big logos.

Reflected in the cost, a full car wrap is the most complex to design and labour intensive to install. The graphic designed for a full car wrap should seamlessly span across all vehicle panels. Your commercial vehicle will be hard to miss with a stunning full car wrap.

This type of wrap is intended for companies looking to make a statement. Many companies use full vehicle wraps to differentiate themselves from their competition. A full vehicle wrap is the most visible of all the options and leaves no viewing angle of your vehicle unaddressed.
